Qualified from Edinburgh in 1986 and joined Nantwich Veterinary Group in 1994 and was admitted to the partnership in 1997. Keen surgeon and racehorse and racecourse vet covering duties at Aintree and Haydock. His other interests lie in problems of the performance horse and he has recently been awarded his advanced practitioner status in equine orthopaedic surgery.
