STUDENT PLACEMENTS

Nantwich Equine Centre welcomes student wishing to see practice at the clinic. We accept students from all veterinary universities, in all years. Placements are offered for either one or two weeks, depending on availability.

As we receive many requests to see practice, you are advised to book at the earliest possible opportunity. These are very popular positions, which are highly sought after as part of university EMS requirements, and as such are often booked up significantly far in advance.

Students should be enthusiastic, hard working and keen to get involved in the team environment here at Nantwich Equine. Time can be spent either at the clinic or out on the road with the ambulatory team, depending on the caseload.

It is advisable to bring with you warm/suitable clothing for the time of year. Solid footwear should be worn (no trainers). Students should bring lunch with them and be prepared to work long days. Accommodation is not provided, but we may be able to offer advice if this is required.
